Spay/Neuter Transport

In an effort to further fulfill our mission to reduce the number of abandoned and unwanted companion animals in northeast Georgia, the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia has expanded our low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services to offer transport services from throughout the region for pet owners who do not live close to our Spay/Neuter Center. HSNEGA currently works with the following animal welfare organizations to provide transports between our facilities:

White Co. Animal Control: 706-219-2689

Toccoa-Stephens Co. Humane Shelter: 706-886-6761

Pet owners who would like to participate in a transport can inquire about dates by contacting one of the organizations above. Surgery costs and requirements are the same as HSNEGA’s on-site clinic. Pet owners also can request additional services for their pets at the time of surgery including vaccinations, heartworm testing, feline combo testing, and microchipping. These low-cost services are offered for additional fees. For more information on surgery costs, click HERE.

There are no residency requirements for transports; however, due to space limitations, the number of pets able to be accommodated is limited. Other restrictions also may apply to the transport, as well. For more information on spay/neuter transports, call 770-532-6617 or email
