Pet P.A.L.S. Summer Camp 2019 is almost over! With just a little over a week and one final group to go, campers have had a PAWesome summer filled with activities of “P”reparing “A”nimals for “L”ove and “S”helter. From insightful tours on the HSNEGA facility and learning about the day-to-day operations to various guest speakers from animal behaviorists, pet groomers, the Hall County K-9 Unit, rescue workers and more. Campers also spent a ton of time socializing with rescues! Each camper picked a rescue, learned their behaviors and personalities and created posters to hang in the Adoption Center. These posters aimed to help promote their chosen rescue and give help potential adopters information to help them adopt the best rescue for their family. Can’t wait for next year!!

What people are saying about Pet P.A.L.S. Summer Camp:
“My son, Jackson, was part of this group. He is still moping around today that camp is over. He said the group of kids were so special and kind and the animals are so sweet. He’s so sad that it came to an end. Thank you Northeast Georgia Humane Society. You are fantastic. We have been here three summers in a row. We’ll see you next summer.” ~Kelly, Summer Camper Parent
