IMPORTANT UPDATE: HSNEGA COVID-19 RESPONSE
The Adoption Center will be CLOSED March 29 through April 6, 2020.
The HSNEGA Adoption Center will be closed March 29 through April 6, 2020 to comply with the most recent recommendations from state and health officials about slowing the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and minimizing the risks to the most vulnerable among us.
Please know that even though our facility is closed to the public, team members will still be coming in every day during the closure to feed, clean, medicate, walk and provide for all the needs of the homeless animals who remain in our care.
Emergency fosters needed: There are several adult dogs who are in need of long term foster care and would greatly benefit from being in a foster home during the closure. If you are able to foster, please fill out the Emergency Foster application by clicking HERE.
**Please do not call the Adoption Center as we are closed to the public.
HSNEGA’s Adoption Center regular hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 12-6 pm and is located at 845 W. Ridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30501. Click HERE to get directions. For up-to-date information about HSNEGA’s response to COVID-19 click HERE.
All adoptable animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (appropriate for their age), dewormed, heartworm tested (dogs), feline combo tested (cats), microchipped, up-to-date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, health-checked, and, most importantly, spayed or neutered.
This page is linked to our adoption database and is “live-time” so all animals here are currently available.
