Associate Veterinarian (Full Time)

The Associate Veterinarian provides surgical full-service quality medical and surgical care for all shelter and public animals served by HSNEGA. They assist with general medical needs including implementation of standards of animal care/disease protocols and coordination/management of treatment for animals in the care of HSNEGA. The Associate Veterinarian provides team leadership for the Wellness Clinic staff, ensuring the capability and efficiency of high-volume, low-cost wellness services to public animals. Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college or university and possess a current license (or willing to obtain a license) to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Georgia. Veterinary Assistant (Full Time)

Veterinary Assistants provide surgical and other medical support for both shelter and public animals. Specifically, the role assists the Medical Director, Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in the HSNEGA Wellness Clinic, Spay/Neuter and Adoption Center. Experience in a veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital, animal shelter and/or control facility is preferred. No experience? On the job training will be provided.

Customer Care Specialist (Full Time)

Customer Care Specialists provide outstanding customer service, counseling, and education to the general public regarding the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s mission, policies, services, and programs. Assists with adoptions and all necessary computer records and paperwork. Provides Wellness Clinic administrative support, greets and directs visitors, and provides clerical duties as assigned including data processing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.

Animal Care Technician (Full Time & Part Time)

Animal Care Specialists are responsible for providing high-quality care to the animals housed at the HSNEGA and ensuring proper cleaning protocols for all kennel areas as well as the facility as a whole. Full or part-time position and includes evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling.
