The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is currently recruiting for a Veterinary Technician/Assistant to provide surgical and other medical support in a shelter setting. Specifically, the role provides assistance to the Medical Director, Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians with providing Wellness Clinic & Spay/Neuter services to clients of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. Experience in a veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital, and/or animal shelter or control facility is preferred.

Customer Care Specialist
Customer Care Specialists support the Healthy Pet Clinic and Adoption Center through providing outstanding customer service, counseling, and education to the general public regarding the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s (HSNEGA) services and programs. Provides Health Pet Clinic (including wellness and spay/neuter services) administrative support, greets and directs visitors, and provides clerical duties as assigned including data processing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.

Animal Care Technician
Animal Care Technicians are responsible for providing high-quality care to the animals housed at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) and ensuring proper cleaning protocols for all kennel areas as well as the facility as a whole. Full or part-time position and includes evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling.
