For the fifth and final installment of HSNEGA’s 5 Weeks of Thank Yous, the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and the rescues would like to give a big, warm THANK YOU to our community. The past four weeks we’ve thanked Adopters, Donors, Volunteers, and the HSNEGA Team. Who do these people help make up? Our community.
Our community is also more than that. It is a vast array of supporters from near and far. If you’ve ever used HSNEGA’s Healthy Pet Clinic or are simply diligent about keeping your pets up-to-date on their vaccines, you are part of our community of responsible pet owners. You help fulfill HSNEGA’s mission of creating a community recognized for responsible pet ownership and we THANK YOU.
Have you ever liked, commented, or shared something HSNEGA has posted on social media or are signed up for our e-newsletter? You are part of our community who is helping share HSNEGA’s messages, keeping others informed, increasing the public’s knowledge of HSNEGA, and most importantly helping rescues find their forever families. THANK YOU.
As some of you know, last Saturday, one of HSNEGA’s HVAC unit caught on fire. The amount of support that flooded in from the community was more than what we could have asked for. From the first responders who were quick on site helping contain the fire and getting the rescues safely out of the building, to Hall County Animal Control immediately dispatching vans with extra crates to help accommodate all of the rescues who needed to be evacuated. AND the supporters who took it upon themselves to raise awareness of the incident and funds to help repair it. The number of people who jumped into action to ensure the safety of the rescues was tremendous and we THANK YOU.
When everyone comes together, even in a multitude of ways, a community is created and the cause in question can thrive to achieve its mission. THANK YOU.
