Low Cost Vaccination Clinic Information

It's important to have your pets vaccinated regularly to protect them from unnecessary illnesses. That's why our low-cost vaccination clinics also offers low-cost vaccinations and wellness testing for cats and dogs.

Our affordable clinics are a public service offered to anyone. The Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Appointments are only required for Heartworm Tests, and are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please call ahead to (770) 532-6617 to ensure appointment availability.

Additionally, we hold off-site clinics throughout the year, please visit our Calendar to find a location near you.

All Rabies vaccines are administered by state licensed veterinarians. Additional vaccinations are administered under a veterinarian’s supervision by veterinary technicians. All dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers.

Please Note: The Humane Society reserves the right to refuse services animals that are unhealthy, aggressive, or pose a risk to our staff and/or animals.

* Heartworm Prevention cannot be sold without a negative Heartworm test first. Tests cost $15 each. All positive heartworm tests will be urged to seek treatment at your veterinarian and will not be sold heartworm prevention.


Vaccination Schedule

Like humans, your pet’s health and happiness relies on regular vaccinations. For your convenience, here’s a schedule for both dogs and cats.

Canine Vaccine Schedule

Puppies:*

Rabies

We also recommended puppies be de-wormed at each puppy visit. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines also are available for puppies who will be being boarded, groomed or visiting dog parks.

Dogs are vaccinated yearly for DHP-PV and Bordetella. The Humane Society offers one-year Rabies vaccinations, however, your veterinarian will have one or three year Rabies vaccinations available.
