Save the Date: 2010 Stray Pet Strut 5K
The 5K Stray Pet Strut will be held Sunday, April 18, at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post in Gainesville, Ga.
A Run & See Georgia certified race, 100 percent of the proceeds from this annual event benefit the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. Registration forms are currently available through the Humane Society (see link to download the registration form under the calendar section of the website). The fee is $20 before 4/13/09 and $25 for same day registration.
The top four runners will receive awards as well as runners three deep, male/female, in 15 age categories. All participants will receive a custom-designed T-shirt. Only those who pre-register are guaranteed T-Shirts the day of race.
Pets are invited to participate in walk; however, they must be current on vaccinations, be leashed and be in proper physical condition.
