Mutt Strut Registration Deadline EXTENDED to April 13!

Join the staff, volunteers and supporters of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) for the 20th annual Mutt Strut 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the American Legion Gainesville Post, located at 2342 Riverside Drive in Gainesville.

The annual event is one of the premier fundraising events for the HSNEGA with all proceeds benefiting the shelter’s services and the animals in its care.
 
Participants in the 1 Mile Fun Walk are invited to bring their dogs to walk with them as long as the animals are vaccinated, leashed, non-aggressive, and in good physical condition.
 
Registration for the event begins at 1:30 p.m. with the 1 Mile Walk starting at 2 p.m. and the 5K beginning at 2:30 p.m.
 
Awards will be given to the Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters Male/Female. Age Group awards will be given 3 deep in standard age groups from 10 and under to 75 and over. Finish line and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com. The 5K is part of the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Series.
 
Pre-registration is $20; day of the race registration is $25. To download a registration form, go to our event page or register online at active.com. All pre-registrations must be received by 5 p.m. April 13; all participants after this time will need to register the day of the event.
