Guinness Brings Smiles
"On October 1, 2011, we had to say goodbye to our 5-year-old Golden/Shepherd mix, Brandy. It was truly one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. Having waited 6 months after our first dog, Whiskey, died of cancer, we knew the emptiness losing a beloved pet leaves in one’s heart.
With that experience, when we said good-bye to Brandy on that sad October afternoon, we knew that we could not wait that long again. Not only would we just miss having a dog in the house, we knew another puppy would help us heal.
On December 10, 2011, we adopted Guinness from the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. She is such a little blessing, and has made this doggie momma smile more in one week than I had in two months. We love this little girl! I look forward to having her with me for many years. Thank you for the work you do!"
