As a non-profit agency, the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia relies on volunteers and monetary and in-kind donations from local citizens and companies to fulfill our mission. Volunteer Application Form

The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia has a small staff, and without our team of volunteers we could not fill the needs of our pet community. Volunteers are instrumental in the success of our everyday work and special events and we appreciate all their hard work and dedication.

While there is no volunteer age limit, we do require that all volunteers under the age of 18 have an adult with them at all times during their visit. All Humane Society Volunteers must fill out a Volunteer Application and attend a Volunteer Orientation at the shelter before becoming a Volunteer.
