Cruising for a Cause 2012 was a great success! Check back for details about the 2013 event!

On August 11, 2012, Helenya Gradidge, founder of Nuvo Visage, hosted Cruising for a Cause, an event to raise monies for the SNIP Fund, a free spay/neuter program available through HSNEGA.

Nuvo Visage has collaborated with HSNEGA to provide this life-saving service for at-need companion animal owners who love their pets but cannot afford surgery to prevent unwanted litters, many of which wind up abandoned or surrendered to a shelter where they will be euthanized.

The event featured an evening aboard a luxury houseboat touring Lake Lanier sponsored by Capital Data Service Inc. Attendees enjoyed an unforgettable evening of good food, great music, silent auction, and fabulous door prizes, not to mention meeting new friends.

Cruising for a Cause raised $5,500 for the SNIP Fund, which will provide 100+ free spay/neuter surgeries. Since May 2012, the SNIP Fund has allowed more than 60 pets owners to have their animals altered including a young widowed mother and an elderly couple living on less than $700 per month.
