DOG DAYS ADOPTION SPECIAL
Come join the The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) for the “Dog Days of Summer”, a special adoption promotion for canines. Starting Monday, August 1—Sunday, September 4, the adoption fee for canines in the HSNEGA Large Dog room will be $50; the regular adoption fee ranges from $70-$100.
“During summer, adoptions also tend to be a little slower on average, so we are hoping this promotion will encourage people to come in and adopt,” says Rick Aiken, HSNEGA President.
Canines available for adoption include both larger adult dogs as well as older puppies. During Dog Days of Summer, all adopting families also will receive a free gift at adoption.
All adoptable animals at HSNEGA are current on their vaccinations, fecal tested/dewormed, heartworm tested, up-to-date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, health-checked, and, most importantly, spayed or neutered.
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is open for adoptions Mon.-Sat. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. To see the animals currently available for adoption at HSNEGA, click under the "ADOPTION" tab on our home page, or for more information, please contact HSNEGA at 770-532-6617.
