Belley of the Ball
"In 2009, the Department of Agriculture seized a group of dogs from a breeder in Cumming. The dogs were taken to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. I went in to the Humane Society hoping to adopt one of the dachshund puppies that had been seized, but when I got there, they had all been adopted.
I looked in the cages at the other dogs and I saw Carrabelle (Tara at the time). She was timid and quiet. She was afraid. I know that’s why she was quiet because she’s been in our home for 2 years now and she hasn’t had another ‘quiet’ moment.
Carrabelle (aka Belley) is happy, energetic and FULL OF LIFE! She wants to see everything, smell everything and just experience EVERYTHING. You have to love her for it. She brings so much joy, sunshine and laughter to our household. We are thankful to the HSNEGA for helping us bring this amazing animal into our lives!"
