BLACK FRIDAY ADOPTION SPECIAL!
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) has announced it will be participating in the biggest retail day of the year—Black Friday—by offering 50% off the adoption fee for all animals at the shelter.
Typically $100 per animal, the adoption fee will be $50 all day the day after Thanksgiving (November 26), and the shelter will be open 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
“Since we no longer euthanize based on space or duration of stay, we’ve had to come up with creative options for adopting our animals, especially those that have been with us for longer periods of time,” says Rick Aiken, President of HSNEGA. “While we’ve had other specials this year, the Black Friday special will be the first time all animals—regardless of age or other factors—will be included.”
All adoptable animals at HSNEGA are current on their vaccinations, fecal tested/dewormed, heartworm tested, are up-to-date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, health-checked, and, most importantly, spayed or neutered.
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is open for adoptions Mon.-Sat. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. The shelter will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
