OPEN POSITIONS


SURGICAL VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Responsible for assisting the veterinarian and veterinary technician(s) with pre-, peri- and post-operative care of spay/neuter patients at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA). This position requires the candidate to handle, on average, 35-40 dogs/cats per day in a high-volume spay/neuter surgery center. This position is part-time (32-35 hours/per week) and scheduled for 4 days/week, Monday through Thursday. ANIMAL CARE TECHNICIAN
Responsible for providing high quality care to the animals housed at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and ensuring proper cleaning protocols for all kennel areas as well as the facility as a whole. This position is part-time (32-35 hours/per week) and includes weekend and holiday scheduling. Candidate must be flexible with schedule changes and short notice overtime requests.
