OPEN POSITIONS


Surgical Veterinary Assistant
Responsible for assisting the veterinarian and veterinary technician(s) with pre-, peri- and post-operative care of spay/neuter patients at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.This position requires the candidate to handle, on average, 40 dogs/cats per day in a high-volume spay/neuter surgery center. Animal Care Specialist
Responsible for providing high quality care to the animals housed at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. Responsible for ensuring proper cleaning protocols for all kennel areas as well as the facility as a whole. Provide counseling and education for the general public regarding HSNEGA policies and animal welfare issues when appropriate.
