The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is currently recruiting for a full-time veterinarian to provide surgical and other medical support in a shelter setting. Specifically, the role provides surgical support for HSNEGA Spay/Neuter Center and oversees general medical needs including assisting with the implementation of standards of animal care/disease protocols and coordination/management of treatment. Must possess DVM license for Georgia (or be willing to apply). New graduates will be considered; willing to train. Experience with shelter medicine a plus.

The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is currently recruiting for a Veterinary Technician/Assistant to provide surgical and other medical support in a shelter setting. Specifically, the role provides assistance to the Medical Director, Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians with providing Wellness Clinic & Spay/Neuter services to clients of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia. Experience in a veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital, and/or animal shelter or control facility is preferred.

Animal Care Coordinator
The Animal Care Coordinator assists with overseeing the day-to-day services of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s (HSNEGA) Adoption Center and works closely with the Animal Care Manager to coordinate needed medical care for adoptable animals at HSNEGA while providing supervision to the Animal Care team, community services workers, and assigned volunteers. The position is responsible for working with the veterinarian(s) and other clinical team members to provide quality care in accordance with the HSNEGA’s standards for patient care and client service.
